Serial #2508A This offering is for the pictured German K98 Mauser Rifle. In good looking used condition, maker marked from German WW2 arsenal code dou "Waffenwerke Bruenn, Bystrica" Czechoslovakia in 1945.

With this late date, this rifle may have been assembled post war by the Czechs from existing factory parts.

Rebuilt over the years of post war service in Czechoslovakia or Israel.

Re-number serial numbers match bolt to receiver. Metal finish is a mix of blued and parkerized parts with typical wear. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Sound hard wood stock set with typical dings and scuffs from use and long storage, late type stock with no provision for cleaning rod storage.

Chambered in 8mm Mauser the bore is brite and excellent. Not import marked.

Makes a good rifle for the shooter or collector.
