This offering is for 1 of our Romanian Military Mess Kits. Like the ones pictured, all are in good used condition.
2 piece set made from aluminum, kidney shaped cross section with a forest green paint finish.
This type of kit was used widely across Europe in the post war years. Fashioned after the German WW2 kit, known as the M1931. The Pan and the pot. The shallow pan could be used for eating or cooking and served as a lid for the pot. Folding steel handle and wire bale.
In use, it attaches to the outside of the field pack.
