Quality made item from back in the day, most of these are Savage-Stevens S-1942 marked on the inside, but this one is not marked.
Fits both the No4 and No1 rifles, khaki colored canvas construction with a twill liner, brass snaps and a leather cord for attachment to the trigger guard loop.
Made to snap closed around the action to keep dirt and debris from the breech area when not in immediate use.
