Chinese Type 53 Mosin Nagant Carbine. In good looking condition, maker marked from Arsenal 26 and dated 1956 on the receiver. Serial numbers match bolt and receiver, others do not. Few dings and dents to the wood from use and long storage, sound condition. Metal finish is blued with some wear mostly to the muzzle and sharp edges. Chambered in 7.62x54r the bore is brite with very good rifling. Small KFS import mark on the barrel. Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
