Dutch Model 1895 Mannlicher Cavalry Carbine. In nice looking condition, maker marked from the Hembrug Arsenal and dated 1917. This version has the short handguard, side mounted sling swivels and protective wood side block on 1 side for use with mounted cavalry troops. Features matching serial numbers on all parts but the bolt head. Metal finish is blued with wear, mostly on the receiver area. Handsome hardwood stock with faint cartuche present. Chambered in Dutch 6.5x53R the Bore has very good rifling with smooth lands and grooves. Not import marked.
