Serial number #17246 This offering is for the pictured Walter 1930's .22 Cal Rimfire Rifle. In good looking condition and produced from Walther in Germany. Uncommon variant from this maker, 1930's era production for sporting purposes. Marked for shooting club use on the attached plate.

Blued finish on the metal with most wear on the barrel, splotchy appearance. Single shot bolt action design, rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, square head key is needed for adjustment but missing. Otherwise, mechanically appears fine. Front sight is replaced with a sporting Marbles brand.

European hardwood stock with grasping grooves. Walther marked plastic butt plate is cracked. Neat name plate on the left side, from the Shooting Club in Trebsen "Schutzen Gesellschaft Trebsen".

Chambered in .22 long rifle the bore is brite and excellent.

Makes a fine rifle for the shooter or collector.
