Item#4131 This offering is for the pictured US Air Force Survival Knife. In good looking used condition, maker marked from Camillus and dated 1971 on the pommel.
This Vietnam era knife was adopted by the US Air Force in 1958 for pilots and aircrew members. 9.75 inches in overall length with a 5 inch blade. Light finish wear on metal with some patina on the pommel. Sound stacked leather grip, serrated spine on the blade for cutting thru aircraft skin, parachute lines on other field objects.
Makes a fine item for the military collector.
