Item #4263 This offering is for the pictured German M1884/98 WW1 Bayonet. Known as the 2nd pattern and was the standard short bayonet of WW1.
Maker marked from JA Henckels on the riccaso. 15.25 inches in overall length with a 10 inch brite blade with some stains and frost spots. Grip metal has turned a patina, good lock button and flash guard. Dated 1917 on the spine.
Sound hard wood grips. Missing the scabbard.
Makes a fine item for the military collector. Just this 1 available.
