Antique #118736 This offering is for the pictured Swiss Model 1889 Infantry Rifle. In good looking condition, maker marked from the Swiss Arsenals, serial number dates to 1893 production.

Matching serial numbers. Metal finish is blued with wear, slivering on the sharp edges and receivers top. Receiver is marked P30 indication the year 1930 when it was sold off to civilian use. 12 round integral magazine, 30 inch barrel and crisp straight pull action, appears mechanically fine.

Sound European hard wood stock set, matched in color tone, few dings and compressions.

Chambered in 7.5 Swiss (GP1890)* the bore is brite with very good rifling. Not import marked. Swiss quality!

* Safety point* 7.5 Swiss GP1890 is not the same as 7.5 Swiss GP11. This is a low power round for the 1889 and modern Swiss ammunition should not be fired.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
