Antique. Serial #5095. This offering is for the pictured vintage French Mle 1873 Chamelot Delvigne Commercial Revolver. In very good looking condition and produced from the French arsenals.

Uncommon commercial version with no military barrel dated or serial numbered parts and has the commercial blued finish versus the ordnance brite military versions. The Mle 1873 was in production from 1873-1887.

The Model 1873 Chamelot Delvigne is a sturdy and well-made revolver with fine fit and finish. The metal surfaces are blued with light wear, case colored hammer, trigger and loading gate with nice engraving on each.

Double/single action, mechanically appears fine. Sound hard wood grips and lanyard ring is present.

Chambered in 11mm French Ordnance round, center fire, the bore has very good rifling.

Makes a fine revolver for the collector.
