This offering is for 1 packet of our vintage French 8mm Lebel Ammunition. Like the ones pictured, all are in good looking condition. String tied paper packet that contains 8 round of the brass cased ammunition. Dated 1947 on the label, this is the the same French packet style used from its adoption in 1886.
This ammunition is the "Balle N" 1932 updated projectile design, lead core cupro nickle over steel jacket, spritzer with boat tail, 232 grains. Heavier than the older Balle D for improved performance in the Hotchliss machine gun and Berthiers that were updated for its use (N marked). Expect a few tears to the edges from bulk long storage. (we understand the primers are likely dead from 3rd world storage.)
