Spanish Mauser Model FR-8. In nice looking condition, a military upgraded M43 Mauser (sturdy98action) to a transition training rifle for the CETME main battle rifle. Made to have familiar CETME features such as the sight picture, flash hider, mounts the same bayonet with cleaning kit tube below. Handy and desireable rifles, this one has good looking sound stock set, metal is parkerized turning a patina with a few pin pricks of pitting a top the receiver and wear on the magazine base. Matching serial numbers bolt to receiver. Bolt handle has been modified/turned down ans is inlet-ed to the stock a bit. Chambered in 7.62x51 (308 Winchester) the bore is brite near excellent

A good rifle for the military collector.
