British Enfield No5 Jungle Carbine. In good looking condition and a genuine military configuration item. Maker marked from British Arsenals, this saw use and refurbishment in WW2 and beyond. Faint No5 electro-pencil marked on the side, most other markings are faint. Wood stock set is sound with some wear. likely sanded. Metal is finish is worn in the receiver and magazine areas, remainder is blued with a touch up blue in spots. Sold into commercial use andBritish re-proofed on the barrel. The only serial number visible is on the barrel. Correct 800 meter rear sight, these were made to be light weight "jungle guns" with excess metal milled away where possible ie lightened bolt knob, trigger guard and more. Recognizable intregal flash hider and buttstock relief cut. Chambered in 303 British the bore is brite and excellent.

Makes a good rifle for the military collector.
