Argentine Mauser M1909/47 Carbine. In good looking condition and maker marked from the Argentine FMAP State Arsenals. Near 20,000 carbines produced, this one has the1st variant crest style (5000 rifles) made between 1947-1949.

Receiver and bolt is correctly brite. Remainder metal has a worn blued finish, mostly all turned a worn patina.
Wood set is sound with plenty of dings and compression's. Serial numbers no longer match. Chambered in 7.65 Mauser the bore has very good rifling, brite with slight frost in the grooves. Import marked..

Makes a fine Mauser for the military collector.
