Austrian Model 1895 Mannlicher Long Rifle. In good looking condition, the principal rifle of the Austro Hungarian Empire during WW1. Maker marked from the arsenals in Budapest Hungary and rebuilt over the years of service the stock has been renumbered several times, and presently all numbers marked to match. Updated to S patron bullets and S marked on the barrel shank, full length rifle 29.5 inch barrel configuration is nice to find as many were shortened to carbines in post war service. Rear sight marked to 2600 scritt. Solid stock and handguard, with minor dings and compressions, metal finish is a full blue/black refurbishment. Straight pull action works fine. Chambered in 8x56r the bore has very good rifling with darker frosted grooves. Not import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
