Austrian Mannlicher M95/30 Stutzen Carbine. In nice looking condition, referred to as a carbine and officially called the Repetier Stutzen for its abbreviated size and was issued to support troops such as artillery, engineers, signal corps and police.

Maker marked from the Steyr Arsenals with a 1937 barrel date, likely refurbished or assembled at that time. Marked with a circle T on the shank indicating a new steel barrel and has the pre WW2 Austrian eagle stamp AND pre WW2 front sight protector still in place.

Likely arsenal refurbished over the years, the bolt serial number does not match but the stock does. Correct carbine length rear sight with stacking pin present. Marked on the barrel shank with the S indicating chambered for the new caliber 8x56r. The bore has very good rifling, darker frosted grooves. Crisp straight pull action, not import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the collector.
