FN Model 1950 Mauser Carbine. In very good looking condition and maker marked from FN on contract to Morocco for Police or Gendarme use between 1950-1955. This has matching serial numbers bolt to receiver, low 4 digit serial number, and likely just a few hundred produced.
Sound stock and hand guard, minor handling marks with few dings and compressions from military use and storage. Bolt is correctly brite, remainder metal has a blued finish, thinning on the barrel, bands are worn tuning a patina as is the trigger guard.
Purpose built in desirable caliber 30-06 Springfield, the bore is brite near excellent, slight frost. Import marked. Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
