This offering is for 1 of our inert US 40mm Rifle Grenade INERT Practice Rounds. In good looking condition. These were originally practice rounds with a propellant, and a chalk filled projectile for marking the practice targets.
These are now completely inert, no powder or primers and fine for display.
3 7/8 inches in overall length, nylon case with a blue plastic projectile. In use these would have been fired from the M203 grenade launcher that mounts below the M16 barrel of the M79 hand launcher. The base is marked M212 but the complete round was known as the 40mm M781 Practice Round
Makes a fine display for the military collector.
