We accept credit card payments by Visa, Mastercard and Discover thru our secure website.

Orders

To place an order with us you must agree to our general sales terms:

• Sales are made to adults only.
• All products sold by us are for use in the USA and will not be exported. You agree to not sell or forward any of our products internationally.
• Use of products must comply with State and Federal law. You will agree to use them in a lawful manner.
• All sales must be made with your own credit card, no third-party sales.
• Occasionally we my over-sell an item due to high demand or limited inventory. We will notify you as soon as possible for a refund or alternate part if available.

Surplus Parts Terms

All of our gun parts are surplus items. Sourced from old warehouse finds and gunsmith odd parts lots, some are over 100 years old. We offer these as found for their collectable nature and strive to describe and photograph the conditions as best we can. You accept the caution that we do not know of any defects or how these were used or abused over the years. You accept the responsibility to have a competent gunsmith inspect and install any parts.

Returns

At Liberty, your satisfaction is our reputation. We inspect, well photograph and describe our products as best as can be done. Please understand that we trade in vintage items, many near 100 years old with extensive use and long storage. These is no manufacturers warrantee.

We allow a 3 day inspection period for all of our products. If you wish to return an item, please contact our friendly customer service department to arrange for a return authorization. Returned items should include a copy of your invoice with brief note for refund or exchange.

If you have received an incorrect item from us, damaged or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible and allow us to correct the situation with an exchange or whatever is necessary.

Accessories: 3 day inspection offered. Refunds will be issued for the price of the item less any shipping and a 5% processing fee.

Firearms: 3 day, non firing non disassembly inspection offered. Refunds will be issued for the price of the item less any shipping.

Gun Parts: 3 day inspection offered, may be returned if the wrong part was ordered. No returns if installed, disassembled or modified. Refunds will be issued for the price of the item less any shipping and a 15% processing fee.

Ammunition: no returns accepted.

Refunds will be issued he day of arrival. Return credit will take up to 2 weeks to process as financial institutions seem slow/cautious to process these.

Ammunition

It is our policy to sell ammunition to properly licensed US citizens.

• You must be a US citizen at least 21 years of age.
• Submit a copy of your drivers license or FFL for proof of age via email/fax/mail.
• Never have been convicted of a felony crime.
• Never been adjudicated as mentally defective.
• Never been a fugitive from justice or an unlawful user or a controlled substance.
• Have not been dishonorably discharged and have not renounced US citizenship.
• Have not been convicted of domestic violence or subject to restraining order for harassment.

State and local restrictions may apply.

State restrictions are too numerous to list on our website. Please be knowledgeable of your area, as we will research the laws and know before your order is processed. Ammunition may be removed from your order as required.

If State FOID or COE certificate of eligibility is needed please send it to us.

All ammunition sales are to individuals or Firearms Dealers, we make no institutional sales.

No sales to: AK, HI, DC

Sales to FFL Dealers only: CA, MA, NY. (copy of FFL required)

State COE or FOID required: CT, IL.

Ammunition will ship UPS Ground delivery with signature required.

We ship to the address on your ID only. Other accommodations are for established known customers.

No returns on ammunition for any reason.

Firearms

We are a Federally licensed firearms dealer and only ship firearms to other Federal License holders. We are a mail order/internet business and do not offer store front retail transactions.

How to buy a firearm from us:

Our policy is to sell to adults 21 years of age or older.

The firearm you purchase from us will be shipped to your local gun shop for transfer to you. To do this, you will need to have your gun shop/transfer agent send us a copy of their FFL (federal firearms license) via email, fax or mail.

When the firearm arrives at your dealer you will have to pay your dealer a transfer fee, complete the purchase paperwork and complete background check at that time. In addition to any State regulations.

We offer buyers a 3 day non firing non disassembly inspection.

Firearms are sold as collectables as there is no manufacturer’s warrantee and no warrantee of performance. You are required to have a gunsmith’s inspection prior to any operation.

Rifles will ship fully insured UPS Ground with adult signature, hand guns by Air.

Antique Firearms: These can ship directly to an adult in most locations. Our policy is to sell to adults 21 years of age or older. Proof of age is required, copy of driver's license or FFL is fine. We will ship to the address on the ID. Must be a US Citizen with no criminal history. State restrictions may apply such as no direct shipments to NJ or CA.

Antique Firearms are made before 1899 and are offered as non-shooting collectables due to age.

Magazines

State restrictions on firearm magazines listed below, other local restrictions may apply: ATF PublicationState Laws and Published Ordinances.

Brief list below, other laws may apply.

California: No magazines over 10 rounds.
Colorado: No sales of magazines exceeding 15 rds capacity to anyone or dealer.
Connecticut: No sales of magazines exceeding 10 rds capacity to anyone or dealer. A legible copy of state issued identification AND one of the following is required to purchase magazines of 10rd capacity or less:

- A valid CT permit to carry a pistol or revolver OR
- A valid CT long gun eligibility certificate OR
- A valid CT ammunition certificate

Hawaii: No sales of pistol magazines exceeding 10 rds capacity to anyone or dealer.
Illinois:

- No sales of magazines exceeding 15 rds capacity to anyone or dealer in the City of Aurora.
- No sales of magazines to the City of Chicago.
- No sales of magazines exceeding 10 rds capacity to anyone or dealer in Cook County.

Maryland: No sales of magazines exceeding 10 rds capacity to anyone or dealer.
Massachusetts: No sales of magazines exceeding 10 rds manufactured before 9/14/1994 except individuals having a MA issued Class A license or dealers. No sales of high capacity magazines exceeding 10 rds manufactured 9/14/1994 or after.
New Jersey: No sales of magazines exceeding 10 rds capacity to anyone or dealer.
New York: No sales of magazines exceeding 10 rds capacity to anyone or dealer.
Washington DC: No sales of any magazines.
Vermont: No sales of Long Gun magazines exceeding 10 rds capacity and Hand Gun magazines exceeding 15 rds capacity.

International Sales

We do not make any international sales.

We do not make any third-party sales.

Liberty Tree Collectors respects and is committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

All customer information is and will remain confidential. We will sometimes email our clients about sale items offered by us. If you do not wish to receive these emails please let us know by emailing us at sales@libertytreecollectors.com.
