Item #3181 This offering is for the pictured US Military Model 1898 Haversack. In good looking condition, and surplus from the Spanish American War era.
13 x 13 inches in size, khaki tan cotton web material, sturdy condition and one of the better ones we have seen. Worn as a side bag or haversack, there is no carry strap, just the clasps for attachment.
Well marked to the 1st Infantry Regiment. This unit has a long documented history and includes service in Cuba and the Philippine Islands during the Spanish American War era.
Makes a fine display for the military collector.
