Item #4420 This offering is for the pictured Austrian WW1 Trench Knife. In good looking condition more or less. Maker marked from AW Wadsworth & Son Austria. This is a German knife maker in the business from 1905-1936 that sold mostly pocket-knives under various marketing names in Germany and Austria.

Produced for the WW1 war effort it is 10 inches in overall length with a 5.75 inch blade. Sound round hard wood handle and S shaped cross guard. The blade has been sharpened with grind marks remaining. Maker marked on the blade flat.

No scabbard.

Makes a fine item for the military collector.
