Serial #010325 This offering is for the pictured Argentine Mauser Model 1909/47 Carbine. In good looking condition and maker marked from the Argentine FMAP State Arsenals produced between 1947-1959. Initially the Model 1909 Cavalry Carbine design but with updated bayonet mounting options.

Refurbished over years of military services, matching serial numbers on the metal with a mis matched wooden stock.

Metal finish is blued with wear to the exposed areas and a correct brite receiver. Argentine military crest atop the receiver. Bolt action repeater, mechanically appears fine.

Sound hardwood stock set, typical small dings and scuffs, arsenal repair splice on the butt.

Chambered in 7.65 Mauser the bore has good+ rifling, light frost lands and grooves.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
