Item #4582 This offering is for the pictured Ordnance Art, Vase or Pitcher. In good looking condition, sometimes referred to as "trench art" as the WW1 items crafted in the trenches were.
This was not made in a trench. It is an unfinished brass artillery casing, drawn and rimmed but not completed in the primer hole area and not head stamped as pictured.
Likely unfinished production at the wars end turned into something useful. 15.25 inches tall, neat 2.75 inches at the mouth. with an attractive brass handle.
Makes a fine display for the military collector.
