Item #4710 This offering is for the pictured Spanish Mauser Model 1893 Rifle bayonet. In very good looking condition and one of the early bayonets made on contract from Simpson & Co Suhl Germany.

14.75 inches in overall length with a 9.75 inch blade. Metal is correctly brite with light wear. This short length bayonet was made for the long 1893 Mauser Rifles. Unique hump back tang and grip wood profile.

Hardwood grips are sound with handsome tone. Includes the original steel mounted leather scabbard.

Fine accessory for the military collector.
