Item #4721 This offering is for the pictured vintage US M1878 Haversack. In good looking condition and its use dates from the Indian War period to WW1.

Well marked for NY State units. This was meant to be carried with a detachable leather strap (not included) over the shoulder to carry soldier effects.

Khaki colored web material, with few stains or minor tears.

Makes a fine display for the military collector.
