Item #4768 This offering is for the pictured vintage USN marked Permissible Flashlight. In good looking condition and likely WW2 era item.
US Navy marked on the black bakelite/fiber body. Certified by the Department of The Interior as safe for use in explosive atmospheres. likely used in ordnance or powder storage rooms.
7.75 inches in overall length and it does light up if 2 D cell batteries are installed (not included). Light did appears somewhat dim and we are not sure if the D cell are the correct types.
Makes a fine item for the collector. Just this 1 available.
