This offering is for 1 of our vintage Finnish M39 Mosin Nagant Rifle Muzzle Covers. Like the ones pictured, all are in good looking used condition.

This version is made of knurled steel and is likely WW2 era when brass became difficult to source.

Designed to keep dirt and debris clear of the bore when not in immediate use. The tip has a small hole present to act as a cleaning rod guide and center the steel rod in the bore to preserve valuable rifling.
