This offering is for 1 of our vintage Portuugese Mauser Hinged Muzzle Covers. Like the ones pictured, all are in good used condition, features steel construction with a worn finish. No makers markings. This mounts on the muzzle to keep dirt and debris from the bore. The cap opens to allow cleaning and acts as a muzzle guide to center the cleaning rod in the bore to preserve valuable rifling. These are greasy from long storage. Fits the M937/M39
