Antique #LTC.A807 This offering is for the pictured Pennsylvania Half Stock Percussion Rifle. 1850's era gunsmith crafted by HE Leman, Lancaster PA in the business from 1834-1887. His rifles were known across the country as all are well maker marked on the lock plate and barrel at a time when other gunsmiths did not mark at all.

37 inch octagon barrel, with a later added adjustable peep sight and original brass front blade.

Double set triggers that need some attention as the rear trigger must be set before the hammer can cock. Barrel metal is a splotchy plumb and frost patina, hammer and lock plate are hand engraved, brass butt plate, trigger guard and patch box..

Attractive hardwood half stock with a pewter forend tip has some cracks and repair splices around the action.

Appears to be .36+/- caliber rifled barrel.

Due to age, offered as a display collectable, sound and will display well above the fireplace.

Makes a fine antique for the collector.
